On Saturday, November 22, 2003, Sergeant Lawrence Schroeder was working on the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Communication Center as the third watch supervisor. Civilian Dispatcher Pamela Dershem alleges Sergeant Schroeder "lost his temper," became disrespectful towards her, and treated her in a manner that was "intentionally demeaning and intimidating."
