A note from the editor

In the late 1990s, I began working on the official Montgomery County Ohio web site (montcnty.org). I worked for the county commissioners in the basement of the county administration building. I also worked with Sheriff Gary Haines to create the Montgomery County Sheriff's web site. This underground position afforded me a unique opportunity to interact with many in county government... and to begin to see a level of corruption that I could not have imagined.

Local government employees, just as those in higher levels, need to be held accountable for their actions.

Some professional organizations seal records of misconduct or make them difficult to research. MONTCNTY.COM aims to permanently reveal these records of misconduct in Montgomery County Ohio and to make them easily accessible to all.
